Sarkodie is on a media tour in Nigeria following the release of his 7th studio album, the 15-track “No Pressure album”.
This followed the media tour in Ghana which saw him on several radio stations in Accra and Kumasi.
On Beat 99.9 FM in Nigeria, radio presenter Osi Suave said Sarkodie has not been getting enough credit for the work he does.
Comparing Nigeria to Ghana, Osi said he believes Wizkid, Davido and other stars are more celebrated by Nigerians than Ghanaians celebrate their own.
Osi played a recent audio interview in which Sarkodie claimed that he sold out the Apollo before Burnaston Boy but BET put it out that Burna Boy was the first afrobeats artiste to do it. In the audio, Sarkodie blamed the situation on the lack of celebration from Ghanaians.
Asked why the situation is so, Sarkodie said Osi Suave has said everything he wanted to say.
